How do I sign up?
You can sign up through our website, www.WomensVotingCircles.com or you can email us at WomensVotingCircles@gmail.com.
How do I retrieve my Voter list?
Go to http://thebroom.net:3000 and enter your email address as your login. That's it! A list will be automatically generated. If it isn't, that means either you aren't in our Circle member database or we have an error in your email address. Email us and let us know.
How can I contact the voters on my list?
Next to each Voter on your list is a link labeled "Show." Clicking on this link will give you more information about the Voter, including their address.
How do I remove a voter from my list?
Next to each Voter on your list is a link labeled "Complete." Clicking on this link will remove that person from your list permanently. Whether to remove a Voter from your List is a judgment call for you to make.
Some reasons to remove a Voter from your list:
- The telephone number is incorrect.
- The Voter has indicated a definite vote for the other candidate.
- The Voter has indicated a definite vote for Obama and you don't think you will need to follow up (but see below).
- The Voter has asked you not to call again.
- You weren't able to reach them and plan to try again later.
- You talked to them and they are still undecided. You'll want to contact them again later.
- You talked to them, but want to follow up with additional information, a reminder call, or help them make arrangements to get a mail-in ballot or get to the polls on election day.
Can I refresh my voter list (get more names)?
If at any time your Voter List is less than 20 women, you can add additional Voters by simply clicking the "Refresh List" button. You'll instantly get an updated list! We increased the number of Voters on your list so that you can keep the "3 who didn't answer," the "4 you left a message for," the "1 who wants more information," and still get additional Voters to contact.
Why are the voters on my list not in my neighborhood?
We have done our best to match you up with women in your area. Our voter list is comprised of women who have registered in the last two years as unaffiliated voters. In some areas we have more volunteers than voters and in others a lot more unaffiliated voters than we have Circle members to contact them.
How can I get additional voters?
If your Voter List is less than 20 women (because you have hit "complete" and removed some), you can get additional Voters at any time by clicking on "Refresh List."

What if the telephone numbers are incorrect?
Just click "complete" next to any contacts who have bad numbers and then "refresh contacts" to generate new names.
Do you have access to the journal entries I make? Do you want me to makes notes on every contact?
Yes, we do have access to your notes and yes please do keep notes on all of them. If you have a bad number just make a note of it in the "New Journal Entry" screen, and then click on the "complete" button next to their name. You can then refresh your list to generate more contacts.
Do you want me to delete the names on my list who say they are voting for McCain?
Yes
Do you want me to delete the names on my list who say they are voting for Obama?
Only if you are absolutely sure they are committed to Obama and will not need a reminder or any assistance. Otherwise, please keep them on your list, stay in touch with them, and make sure they vote!
